OL
Gape Scheme Rules: Linemen that are playside of the puller will block back. If their defender is not on the line of scrimmage they will double team with the lineman to their playside. The only exception is if the center needs to block back on a three technique. The puller will pull and any linemen backside of the puller will check their inside gap and widen their outside gap.
BSG
Pull and kick out the playside end.
X Y Z J
If two receiver side: block nearest defender. If three receiver side: Bubble Concept. If tight: follow OL rules.
H
Lateral step, take the handoff, make first few steps like stretch then plant and cut upfield when you see the guard even with you.
QB
If shotgun: clear your toes and hand off; if under center: push back to the handoff point and then fake the drop back.

Trap uses a pull and kick action to create cutback lanes; timing is critical for the handoff and the trap block.
